Hey everyone,

Here's a few figure drawings from this week's 12+ hours in front of the model. Regular crits and friendly competition keep everyone on the grind to improve each session! Great job guys!

Also if you are in Austin and would like to join us for some figure, come by on Saturdays from 2-5pm with six dollars, charcoal, and your sketch pad! Enjoy!

    these are really nice as always.

    in the charcoal work, is it done almost academy style, where the sihlouette is laid in with the flat side of the vine and then the important landmarks are added with line?

    I just got into RIngling and while I'd love to bust out the nupastels in life drawing I've got a feeling that won't be an option for a while. the stuff that gets put up here is a standard I want to work towards.

    here's the cliche 'keep it up'!

    i really would love to come to this every saturday. ive been searching for a place near austin that does nude figure drawings. i'm wondering is it beginner friendly because i've never actually done one before.
